“I started Reverie Room because I know how tough it can be for artists to find a space that actually works for them—not just for the venue. So many performance spaces in NYC come with high rental fees, tech charges, and bar minimums that make it nearly impossible for artists to walk away with real earnings. Sometimes none at all. Even if you bring a great show, it’s easy to get buried under costs before you even step on stage.
And then there’s the size issue—most venues expect you to fill 100+ seats just to break even. But not every show needs a huge room. Sometimes, the best performances happen in intimate spaces, where 50 engaged audience members can create something truly special. That’s what Reverie Room is all about—a performer-first space where you don’t have to gamble on overhead costs or stress about filling a massive venue.”
